Belvedere Merlot, Sonoma County Healdsburg Ranches, 1999

There is no single recipe for making delicious wine, only the energy between land and grape, and our winemakers vision to bring it from vine to bottle. Alcohol: 13.0% by volume. In Sonoma County, planted between rolling sheep pastures and old fruit orchards, are some of the finest grape-growing appellations in the world. This Merlot comes from three of the most revered sites surrounding the agricultural town of Healdsburg, California. Fruit from Bradford Mountain, rising 1000 feet above the Rockaway Ranches in Alexander Valley give luxurious fruit and silky texture. We have come to know these sites as our Healdsburg Ranches and believe they represent a very special California terrior.
